Hayti Historical Society

The Hayti Historical Society (HHS) was formed by residents of the African American community of Hayti, located in Valley Township, with the mailing address of Coatesville, situated in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

HHS has made remarkable progress from its modest beginnings in 2012 as a community group, supporting the daily and social needs of the residents, to leading the Passtown Elementary School (Pass School) preservation and economic development project in 2019.

HHS is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization and is funded by charitable organizations, private

donations, fundraising activities, and membership fees.
